A fictional title sequence for the Netflix series Stranger Things as my graduate media production
The purpose of my graduate media production was to create an animated title sequence for the series Stranger Things. My goal is for the title sequence to give viewers an initial glimpse of the series' atmosphere while providing important context for the plot without revealing too much.
Mood board
My mood board is carefully tailored to the series color palette, with black, red, and light being prominent elements. I aimed to create a style by combining cutouts with drawn elements and using negative space to achieve a dynamic composition. By doing this, I sought to give my media production a visual identity that harmonizes with the theme and mood of the series while also appealing to the target audience.
